This is one of our very first products produced by the studio internally.
Candle holders are very typical of Sweden and Nordic countries, here we have combined that basic function with eastern patterns to create an aesthetic relevant to our overlapping cultures.This new line is an extension of our ceramic award winning project “REFLECTION” for Franz 2011. A key difference is that we decided to change the material and production methods to make the products better suited for everyday usage. In order to minimize the pollution when produce, We use ceramic, steel and Ecopoly plastic [biodegradable starch based plastic] which are all easily separated for a sustainable and nontoxic lifecycle.
