When we start to look at how many waste is produced in a loop of industrial process, a thought comes out naturally, we want to make something with the waste. We don’t want to just create another product which is recycled from the other product, we want the new product has its own life and change with the new waste.
We also would like to work with something soft even luxury [ luxury waste!] then we start to contact some high-end modern Chinese style fashion brands. Shiatzy Chen is one of the most famous modern Chinese inspired fashion brand in the world and they express their interest in reusing their fabric waste which produced during the cutting process. Their fabrics are not only high quality but also very rare, Shaitzy has their fabric custom made for them every season [ some of them with delicate embroidery made by hand].
