Throughout history people have gazed at the night sky and reflected on their meaning. Though the stars have not changed over time peoples interpretation of them has. Skywatch mimics a skychart with individual panels lighting up to show the current time. On the top half each hour represents a different era and interpretation of the stars. The faster moving minutes on the bottom express modern times and hint at the future.

This project is one of our proposals for the “Gift from future” exhibition held by Eslite book & life x ITRI.
Our mission is to find out what kind of product can both enhance the advantage of the thin film LED technology provided by Industrial Technology Research Institute Taiwan and also attract the Eslite customer. The Skywatch wall clock is one of our answers, for other proposals see Original Centerpiece and Galaxy.
